This year we are returning to our Base-ics. We are Jumping for 5 solid days. All list members coming to the Jump who have not yet received their Printed and Post Marked Confirmation Cards need to track me down. Calling me at the 800 number is best. You are guaranteed to find me Pre-Con either Jumping, at BlackHat, or at the Cigar Shop. During DefCon, I will be found Jumping, at the CoffeeWars, or at the 3rd Unofficial and non-sanctioned DefCon Shoot. The locations of this years events are The Lake Mead Recreational Area, The Grand Canyon, and Monument Valley. The High Altitude Free Fall Jumps on Day One again require a successful security check, a medical exam, and a pass to be on government property. |

We will be jumping this year from The DefCon Renegades SkyVan, the 727 from last year, and yet another version of an “In Theater” Experimental Deployment Vehicle. The Bandit Jumps will be out of rigged Ultra Lights and the 727 within the Navajo Reservation approved zones within Monument Valley. We will be learning to Power Para-Glide, and Soaring in a Tandem Glider. We have 2 professional photographers, and several amateurs with helmet video cams so beside the usual photos, our secured ftp will hold the HD Vid of all the Jumps. The photos, including those of the 727 HAHO / HALO Jumps, the canopy deployed reactive target shoots, secured locations, and everything and everyone, will be provided after they are vetted. |

~FIRST TIME JUMPERS~ I know I said I’d never waste the money again, but if I don’t spend it on the passions of my life then my idiot relatives get it all when God sez its my time to go home. So this year I am again going to cover 50% of the cost of all First Time Tandem Jumps. I paid for 15 people last year so I’m prepared to do the same or better this year. TO GET THE 50% OFF YOU MUST FIND ME PRIOR TO YOUR JUMP. Only I will make all the arrangements. If you Jump and then afterwards ask me to rebate you, no way. The Guys you will be Jumping with are the same ones that I first Jumped with, I trusted them with my life then and I still do. In this sport, trust is everything. One word of caution. Try to play me and you will live a very long life regretting your stupidity. |

~THE DEFCON BAND OF RENEGADES JUMP RULES~ Each morning call the 800 number to find out if that days Jump is still on. If the weather sucks at all our Drop Zones, we will go to either the Tank to practice, or to The Base for a tour, and then later go to our event for that day. Check with the On-Line Calendar each day for updates, for Party details, and for my current contact information. You must possess at least an A license. Packers or Riggers are not provided. You must possess at least a C license to participate in any four point 4-way or larger skydives. No walk ons. Only confirmed list members, and the select invitees, who have received their Printed and Post Marked Confirmation Cards and Base Passes may participate. You must have your own equipment. Don’t show up without your gear. The display of unsafe behavior, or any display of general stupidity, and you will be grounded. No appeals. Judgments made by the Jump Masters are final. You and your gear will be checked over by the Jump Masters both before and during the Jump. Military Free Fall Jumpers are required to abide by the safety rules imposed by the Jump Masters. No Base Jumping Gear will be provided during that portion of the event. All Base Rigs brought by attendees will require certification by the onsite Base Jump Masters. No Alcohol. No Drugs. No Tobacco. |
